Day 14 - Sydney

We drove the short distance from our hotel back to Honolulu airport where we dropped off our car. Our next flight was to Sydney crossing the equator along the way. This flight was with JetStar who are owned and run by Qantas. They were fantastic and we had really good service. While flying over the South Pacific we saw some of the most amazing and isolated islands. There were beautiful sandy beaches and volcanos on the islands. Absolute Paradise!

When we finally arrived in Sydney we hopped onto the underground at the airport and took a train to an area in the centre of the city to our next hotel. The next hotel was a boutique hotel - it was very contemporary and chique.

The first night we arrived we were quite tired because it was an early start in the morning and there was a bit of a time difference between Hawaii and Australia. We had effectively flown into a different time zone and it was now Wednesday not Tuesday!

We went to a local restaurant and ate lovely hand made pizza in the garden outside. It was really relaxing but that was about all we could manage that night!
